Our sanctuary

The Zen Divine Sanctuary is located on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi, nestled upon ancient lava rock at the foot of Pele’s volcanic presence. This land is alive — not just in the geological sense, but spiritually. The black lava bed beneath the Sanctuary serves as both foundation and reminder of creation, destruction, and rebirth—all gifts of Pele, the Hawaiian volcano goddess. Surrounded by the vast expanse of the Pacific and kissed by warm trade winds, the Sanctuary is held in a unique energetic cradle where earth, fire, air, and water meet. It is a place where visitors can feel the deep pulse of the island, a grounding hum that radiates through the land itself.

The Sanctuary sits quietly among tropical foliage, with open spaces that invite reflection and healing. The structures are simple yet intentional—natural materials, open-air spaces, soft flowing fabrics, and sacred altars that honor the land, ancestors, and universal spirit. The landscape is both rugged and gentle: black lava stones against bright green ferns, vast skies, and the powerful silhouette of the volcano in the distance. Every corner is designed to offer peace, presence, and a return to the self.

At the Zen Divine Sanctuary, we offer healing experiences that connect the physical, emotional, and spiritual. Visitors come here to reset, release, and realign. We practice breathwork, meditation, restorative bodywork, sound healing, and sacred ceremony. Some come to grieve and be held in compassionate space; others seek renewal, clarity, or empowerment. The Sanctuary provides a safe and nurturing environment where transformation can occur naturally, without force—guided by intuition, the land, and gentle sacred practices.

Whether someone arrives for a single session or a full retreat, the intention is the same: to return to one’s divine essence. The Sanctuary is a place to soften, to listen, to reconnect with the earth beneath your feet, and to remember the power already living within. Here, healing is not rushed. It is honored, witnessed, and supported with love.
